Introduction

Navigate to predetermined coordinates via the Bad Elf Flex App.

Step-by-Step

Option 1: Add Points Manually

  1. Navigate to App Settings -> Stored Locations -> “+”



  2. Add a point by either: A. Typing the values into the corresponding boxes B. Using the current GNSS location


Option 2: Load points from properly formatted CSV.

  1. The .csv column format for importing locations into the app is: Name, Latitude, Longitude, Ellipsoidal height, and Datum.
    The lat/lon should be in decimal degrees and negative west, and the ellipsoidal elevation should be in meters.
    The 1st/2nd/3rd Columns: Name/Lat/Long are required. Name field needs to have at least 1 letter.
    The 4th/5th Columns: Ellipsoidal height/datum are optional.



  2. Move CSV to the mobile device driving the Bad Elf Flex App. (Note the location of your downloaded CSV)
    Android Users, we recommend uploading your CSV to Google drive for maximum compatibility. 

  3. Navigate to App Settings



  4. Select Navigation→ Stored Locations



  5. Select Import



  6. Once your CSV is uploaded. Select a point to navigate to it.



  7. The app shows the distance and bearing from your location to the target location.
