Tokens Function




  • This function provides the following capabilities

    • Visibility of loaded tokens

    • Consumption and use of tokens

    • Operating mode(s) available

The Flex Tokens screen shows the following information:
  • Unused tokens show the number of tokens stored on the Bad Elf Flex that are not currently being used

  • Extreme mode shows the GNSS engine operating mode or the expiration time for an in-use token

    • No tokens loaded means that RTK and/or L-Band services are not available without a token

    • Ready means that a token can be used to unlock RTK and/or L-Band

    • HH:MM counts down the time remaining for the currently active token

  • Constellations show what frequencies and GNSS constellations are available

    • GPS, L1 means single constellation support, single frequency

    • Multi-GNSS, L1 means multi-constellation support, single frequency

    • All, L1/L2/L5 means multi-constellation support and all GNSS frequencies are supported

  • RTK shows the availability for the GNSS engine to use RTK corrections services, options (YES, NO)

  • L-Band shows the availability for the GNSS engine to use L-Band corrections services, options (YES, NO)


Actions Available

  • Press the enter button to see available actions for using tokens.

    • No tokens loaded! means there are no tokens currently stored on this Flex

    • Enable Extreme Accuracy means enabling multi-constellation, multi-frequency, RTK mode. L-Band services are also available.

    • Using a token for L-Band means that this unit is already in Extreme mode and using a token enables the use of L-Band services

    • Cancel token usage means disabling the features associated with the token usage and returning the token to the unused count of tokens stored on the Bad Elf  Flex. Note: the grace period for canceling a token is XX minutes.

  • Press the back button from the token options page to the tokens function page.

  • Press the back button from the tokens function page to return to the main menu
