1. Turn on your Wombat. It may take up to a minute for the Wombat to fully boot. When thisprocess is completed, the Wi-Fi icon on the Wombat will be solid blue.
Go to theSettings App. TapWi-Fito bring up the Wi-Fi settings. Tap onBad Elf Wombat to connect to it. The Wombat will connect, and it will showNo Internet Connection. This is normal and expected. While the Wombat uses Wi-Fi as a bridge, it does not connect your iPad to the internet.
2. Go now to theJDM App. At the top right of the page, you will see it says Wombat Not Connected.At this time, while the Wombatisconnected to your iPhone, there is no data flowing through to the JDM App. It should begin to flashyellow, thengreen, when it becomes connected.
3. If JDM does not automatically start connecting, tapWombat Not Connected to bring up the below screen. TapConnect to begin the above process.
4. The connection between your iPhone and the Wombat is now complete. You can see thatWombat Not Connected has changed toWombat Connected, and the Bad Elf logo is present to the left of it. This is a visual indicator of a successful connection. Furthermore, the Download All option in the top right has disappeared, and theDownloadbuttons are greyed out or changed toTransferbuttons.
5. To check information about your Wombat you can tap Wombat Connected and see your hardware and firmware editions, and as well as model and serial information.
